BIOGRAFÍA

Formado en la escuela de artes de Oviedo y en el Athelier de Port-Royal de París.

Miembro de The Art students League de Nueva York desde el año 2000.

En su pintura se adivina la influencia de los maestros del siglo XIX, convirtiendo su obra en algo atípico dentro del panorama artístico actual.

Tres pilares fundamentales sostienen el secreto de su creación: el dibujo, el color y la luz que utiliza con maestría para crear mágicos escenarios con aire cinematográfico en torno al mundo del Jazz o al ambiente de los cafés.

Cuenta con numerosas exposiciones en España y en el extranjero, además de innumerables premios.

Su obra se encuentra en colecciones privadas repartidas por todo el mundo principalmente en Estados Unidos donde es un reconocido retratista.

Algunas obras de carácter histórico como " El bautizo del Príncipe Felipe" están en manos de la Casa Real Española.

Desde 1995 forma parte del diccionario de pintores y escultores destacados del siglo XX.

Trained at the Port-Royal Athelier in Paris, and the School of Fine Arts of Oviedo, Spain.  

Member of The Art Students League of New York since the year 2000.

The influence of the Masters of the nineteenth century is apparent in his works, making his style rather unusual in today's artistic landscape.

Three fundamental pillars support the secret of his creations: the drawing, the colour and the light. He combines them masterfully to create magical stages with a cinematographic vibe, around the world of Jazz music or the ambiance of cafés.

His art has been shown in many exhibitions within Spain and abroad, having received many awards.

His works are part of many private collections around the world, mainly in the US, where he is a renowned portraitist.

Some historical paintings have been commissioned by the Royal house of Spain, such as "The baptism of Prince Felipe".

Since 1995, his name can be found in the dictionary of painters and sculptors of the twentieth century.
